What is NAP Consistency?

NAP consistency means a business's name, address and phone number appear identically across its website, structured data, Google Business Profile, directories and citations. Inconsistent NAP, such as a legacy address or a name with and without 'Inc.', weakens local rankings and confuses AI models about which listing is real.
