What is Entity Authority?
Entity authority is the degree to which search engines and AI models recognize a brand as a distinct, well-described entity: one name, one location or footprint, one set of services, corroborated across the website, structured data, business profiles, directories and publications. High entity authority lets the models resolve a brand unambiguously and cite it with confidence; low entity authority leads to confusion with similarly named companies.
