What is llms.txt?

llms.txt is a proposed standard: a plain-text or Markdown file at the root of a website that summarizes what the site and organization are, and links to the pages that matter most, in a form built for large language models rather than browsers. A companion llms-full.txt can carry the full content of key pages. It is a low-cost way to give AI crawlers a canonical description instead of leaving them to infer one.
